Gecko smiled a bit as he chopped. He could picture that, Daphne listening to metal music. "I'm more into indie-alt, post punk type of stuff but metal is good occasionally," he agreed, focusing on the chopping so he didn't accidentally lose a finger, for no reason other than not wanting to get blood all over.
He finished with the onion and went for a few peppers, getting the cores out. "That depends on where you put ramen noodles on the cooking spectrum. But sometimes I would add some chicken or an egg, make it classy."
He chuckled as he got those peppers chopped and checked the recipe. "Says we have to get these going first," he said. "Until the onions are translucent," he said, and added with a laugh, "there was an invisible supe called Translucence, which was stupid because... translucent and invisible aren't the same thing, but no one really cared."
