"Okay," Tony said, a little helplessly. Peter had a point, of course he did, and Tony understood it and even agreed a little. And he'd been hard on Peter in the past. He'd scolded, yelled, lectured and taken away previously gifted rewards. Because he'd wanted Peter to be better than he'd been.
But the truth of the matter was that Peter just kind of was that all on his own. He tried his damnedest and even when he made mistakes, he worked to fix them. He'd died for a cause he never should have had a part in. Tony simply couldn't ask more of him.
