There were tears in Peter's eyes as he hugged the older man and he swallowed hard to try and clear the lump in his throat. Tony had been far more than a mentor to him since they first met and Peter took his loss as hard as he'd taken losing Uncle Ben. He clung a little tighter than he probably should have, but couldn't quite bring himself to let go too soon.
When he finally he did pull back, it was reluctant, though he hoped that his eyes wouldn't be obviously wet. "It is so good to see you," he said. "You have no idea."
