She took Elena's hand and told her, "it went bad. Real bad," Bonnie said with a frown. "It would be easier to show you everything you've missed that to tell you, if you'll let me?" she said looking at her friend. "A lot of it isn't pretty, though," she warned but knowing Mystic Falls it was never going to be a fun ride.
All of the Original Vampires were monsters, from Bonnie's memory of events, but she suspected a few people would think the same of Enzo if they'd only known him in the beginning. "I still don't know if I trust either of them," Bonnie replied with a wince, "but if you think he's changed, I'll take your word for it."
Bonnie smiled at Elena's enthusiasm and laughed. "You don't have to stay here, you've got a whole life out there just waiting for you," which she was incredibly happy for. Seeing Damon and Elena happy was the only thing that had kept her going through the last days. "Enzo's my destiny," and she wasn't about to loose him again. They'd both been through too much to not be together now.
"You're right, I do deserve it," she said with a nod. Bonnie might not always have believe that, but Enzo had shown her differently. "I don't know about wedding bells," she said with a chuckle, "but I'll put you on speed-dial if it comes up," she promised Elena happily.
