Jean was off in thought, eyes taking in the repetitive sights one sees as you endless skate around a circle. Emerald Green eyes, that smiled when she was happy, sparkling up into the sky, while stars hide in her reflection.
Jean is the only Class 5 mutant alive, marking her as potentially the most powerful mutant to ever live. Not one to show off, or absently use her power, it was often reflexive, particularly if her emotions weren't in check.
Her third time around the rink would change her life today. For the moment she was lost in memories. Mind running away to play with her recollections.
A 'Good Morning,' made her come speeding back to her own body, her own mind. "Good Mor," that's all she could get out before she ran into the being wishing her a bountiful day.
Slamming into data, she grabbed his free arm. He was much stronger than he appeared. Jean was looking toward his hand, when he pulled her up. Face registering astonishment as she moved it in order to see his face.
This was not a human face. It was the unwrinkled face of an Artificially Intelligent being. "Oh, hello, Data," she said as she floundered on her feet, until she could get back up on them."
"Thanks."
"Of course, you may join me, but you need to put on your skates." Still holding onto data's arm, she finally straightened herself out. Unbidden, her mind searched his. A funny look crossed her face, her nose scrunching up.
This time she tilted her head to the right, her face painted with a 'I can't comprehend,' face. "Data, I usually don't do this. I wasn't paying attention, so I read your mind."
