The first thing Evie thought was that somebody with a lot of magic did this. There was really no other explanation. As to who was behind it, she had no idea. And the other residents in the hotel didn't seem to know either.
The outside looked pretty twisted and she didn't want to go out there just yet, so she had decided to see the room that she had been assigned. She had a roommate, she could tell by one side of the room looking pretty lived in. Which meant the other side was meant for her. Okay, she could deal with this. No problem. And it hadn't been a problem since she and her roommate seemed to be missing one another.
When she saw Mal pop up on the network, she knew things would be a little better because it meant not only did she have Dizzy around, but she also would have her best friend.
When the knock came, she wasted no time in answering the door. "Mal!" She quickly reached out and pulled Mal in for a hug.
