Emma + Hannibal
Emma had actually been relieved to find out there was a licensed psychiatrist around. While she'd gone to therapy for months after her ordeal with Kieran and had been making progress, the events that happened on 'murder island' hadn't really been dealt with yet, and she was self-aware enough to know that she needed to work on that. Plus, if she really wanted to study psychology in college, she wanted to learn more about herself rather than end up being someone who used her trauma to hurt others.
She wasn't her half-sister.
As she sat on the couch in his 'office', she looked around, a little surprised that it existed at all. "Wow...this place is actually pretty accommodating, isn't it?" She asked, before nervously clasping her hands in her lap and looking at Dr. Lecter. It wasn't that she couldn't talk about what happened in a safe private place with a doctor she could only hope was as good as he seemed - it was just that she knew he'd probably want her to start at the beginning.
"Thanks for seeing me," she said as she gave him a small smile. "I was in therapy at home, but...obviously my doctor isn't here."
