Clarke still wasn't sure what to make of this place. One minute she'd arrived back on Sanctum to whatever the hell was going on there and then, suddenly, she was pulled back through and ended up here. Wherever here was. But she wasn't alone. Her friends were here. Some of them, anyway. Raven, Murphy, Octavia. They were here and they were safe. As safe as could be in this place, anyway. From what she'd learned, there were other types of threats here. Threats she was still trying to understand from some of the others who, like her, had somehow ended up here. Bellamy was here too and Clarke had mixed feelings about that. She was still angry with him. Angry at what he'd done to not only her, but their friends. He'd betrayed them. He'd had her tortured. For what? For some so-called enlightened leader he was, yet again, blindly following. It was like Pike all over again. How long before someone ended up dead? Bellamy was her best friend, but Clarke would kill him before she'd let him hurt their friends again. Before she'd let him hurt Madi, especially. It was complicated though. From what Raven had explained to her, they were there from different points in time. Things that had happened for her hadn't happened yet for Raven. Or Bellamy. But, Clarke was still angry. She couldn't help it. It was why their conversation had ended up turning into an argument and they'd both left it at a very angry place. She hadn't spoken to him since. Right now, Clarke needed time. Time to process things and figure out how to get out of here. She knew that Indra and Emori would do their best to protect Madi. But, with Sheidheda back, Clarke knew his main focus would be killing her and there was no chance in hell that was happening. On the plus side, this place was at least nice. Her room was anyway. Hot water, a bed, and other things she hadn't experienced in a very long time. Sure, Sanctum had things, but even there, it was limited. It wasn't like this place, which seemed almost like the Earth she'd read about before the bombs fell. Except apparently, from what someone told her on the communication board she'd spoken to the others on, it was haunted. Clarke had stood in the shower, lost in her thoughts until the water started losing heat and startled her out of them. Thankfully, she'd already washed her hair and was able to turn off the water and get out before it got too cold. So far, Clarke hadn't been assigned a roommate, so she didn't have to worry about walking around in a towel, but still, she threw on a t-shirt and a loose pair of shorts that had been provided upon her arrival before heading out into the main living area. Seeing a figure standing there, Clarke froze, her hand on the towel she'd been rubbing over her hair. Blue eyes widened and she immediately recognized the woman, despite the fact her back was to her. Someone she never thought she would see again. Clarke's heart clenched and her voice came out, barely a whisper. "Lexa?" |
