Tandy was not a fan of being submerged in water - likely because of almost drowning when she was just a little kid; after all, that was exactly the kind of traumatic experience that tended to stay with you most of your life, and it was why when she'd been first trying to figure out how to make her powers work, she had jumped into the bay with a heavy chain in the hopes that her panic and fear would make it happen - and it had.
But that didn't mean that she didn't like to dangle her legs in water every now and then, and since she couldn't do that out at the ocean while the outside world was all twisted-Wonderland around them, she could do that at the pool. She'd been idly scrolling on her phone, earbuds in her ears as she listened to music, when she felt a familiar inner tug that took her by surprise. Before she could fully focus on it, there was a black puff in the air in front of her, and a moment later she was being drenched in a wave of heavily chlorinated water.
Sputtering a bit, she set her phone down and wiped her face, then met Ty's eyes as he breached the surface of the pool, unable to help but laugh at him.
"Wow, when you make an entrance, you really make an entrance," she said dryly.
