It wasn't Dorcas' home, but she still felt at home here. Sirius had never made her feel anything but welcome, and apart from a vague mystery about the attic, Dorcas was as comfortable as in her own flat. Well - it was quite a bit posher than her own flat, so in that sense it was more comfortable. The chairs were fantastic! She sat in one now, her legs hooked over the arm of the chair as she read a book. There was a book she was currently reading in every room of Sirius' house, just as in her own place, and in her parents'. That way, she never needed to go far if she just felt like reading, and she didn't have to carry anything bulky around with her. Dorcas was quite good at carrying several different stories in her head at once, and never got confused between the different books. This one was a historical novel set during the goblin rebellion of 1612, starring a fiesty young barmaid at the Three Broomsticks. When Sirius entered the room, however, she looked up and put the book to one side, open and face down (something she only ever did with hardbacks).
"Hey," she said brightly. "Good shower?"
