WHO: Bellatrix and Lucius, with Rodolphus and Narcissa cameos, if they waaaant.
WHAT: They were day-trippers.
WHERE: Starts in the Manor, because Lucius makes everyone come to him.
WHEN: 4 October 1979
RATING: Maybe some sexual awkwardness, but overall clean except for the whole drug thing.
STATUS: in progress
Bellatrix left her husband and sister, happily busied with books and parchment, in the library, and made her way down one of the elaborate halls of Malfoy Manor in the direction of the study.
She was more than happy to accommodate Narcissa in the pursuit of making a new family tapestry, in hopes that Bellatrix could get her hands on the original Black family tapestry one day. After all, who should it go to but her? Narcissa's new project could happily leave off anyone who didn't belong, whereas Bellatrix quite liked the finality of a burned-off family member. It was a reminder to anyone who looked at it just what was important.
The only drawback was having to placate Lucius in one of his moods. Narcissa usually bore him so well, she rarely complained about, well, Lucius' complaining. And whining. It wasn't something Bellatrix would have ever been able to withstand. Worse, it seemed as if her sister and brother-in-law had barely left the house as of late, particularly Narcissa. As Bellatrix saw it, there was only one solution, and as it piqued her interest, everybody was a winner.
Indeed, Bellatrix had been a bit bored lately. She had missed out on the fun in Cheddar, and it seemed ages since she and Rodolphus had busted in on the unfortunate Sirius Black and his now deceased brother. And though that was tremendous fun, it was still work-related fun, not to mention the hours of standing in a cramped alleyway. The only thing to do would be to shake things up.
With that, she turned the final corner to the doorway of the study, with the flask in one hand, swishing it around for a good mix, and knocked on her brother-in-law's door, and addressed him. "I heard you had a headache."
Bellatrix didn't often wear smiles, but there was a gleam in her eye. The tea was strong, the day was long, their spouses were occupied, and it was high time for some fun around here.
