The whole party smacks of Luna's creative influence and she's very pleased with the outcome even if it looks a bit rough. She does her best to stick to the colour scheme and wears a red pinafore and tall mustard coloured stocking feet. The highlight of her outfit is a wire and cotton ball pussywillow wreath on her head. She dreamily tells people it's not wise to wear a green hat on this day even if they arrive with no headwear at all.
She chooses not to down her drink every time there's a toast but still manages to drink a bottle by herself. She's not pissed but she does act a little extra friendly with any/all of the single men. She's also quote insistent that people sit for portraits, and since the tradition is group portraits, she arbitrarily plucks people up to do it together. She also tries to be in as many photos as possible, and introduces several people to the concept of selfies.
After dinner she performs a one-man lion dance with Martin's blessings. She also shows anyone who will look an ancient issue of the Quibbler featuring a photo essay of her parents' experience spending the 1980 Lunar New Year together in Singapore. Her lion costume is an exact replica of the one from the pictures but scaled down for one person.
