Katharina may have been slightly more tolerant than Walden, but that still wasn't saying very much. She didn't flinch at the wording he used, and in turn used it herself.
"There were no mudbloods here," she said exasperatedly. "Just a pureblood - a Black, at that - and a halfblood baby. You can hardly expect me to keep our children away from halfbloods, there are so many of them."
Katharina began to feel riled up. She didn't want to fight, but once a fight started, she felt her blood rising and wanted to give as good as she got. Clearly Walden wasn't going to be satisfied, and she was damned if she was going to sit here like a victim and just defend herself.
"And He's not 'currently out of the picture,' He's dead. There is no more 'Death Eaters'. You lost, Walden, and those of you not dead or in prison just had to run scared. There's no future in that crap. You have to learn to move on."
