Ahhh, coffee!
I take my coffee hot, black, iced, latte, espresso shot, shot in a cuppa, and sometimes with a wee dram if you know what I mean. *wink*
Don't care for a lot of the fluffy frappucinos (though when I worked for Starbucks I certainly made tons of them). This time of year, I love it over ice.
Here's how to make it iced:
Put enough coffee for a full pot of your coffee maker in the basket. Then fill the water resevoir only half full of water. That's right, use half the normal amount of water. Let it brew normally. When done, add sugar if you want, or sweeter while it's hot so it blends well. If you want to flavor with a coffee syrup, you can just do that by the glass. Pour the coffee into a pitcher for the fridge. Add water to the coffee (equal parts water and coffee) and place in fridge to chill. Pour by the glass over ice. You can add milk or cream if you like. Personally, I like mine black. :) Enjoy.
Where I'm from, we don't drink lots of iced tea. Many families make this instead. :)
