She actually wanted to hear about it? That surprised Llew. Still, he didn't want to talk about it but he had a feeling Demelza wouldn't take no for an answer.
"Fine." he said, huffily. He wasn't pleased about this at all.
"Well, Mum died, obviously, and then Dad was moody all the time," maybe it was genetic. "So then, you know, I tired extra hard in quidditch hoping that would make him happy because the Catapults winning always put him in a better mood but it didn't really help no matter how hard I tried. Then he killed himself because apparently me and Jen aren't good enough reasons to live. So then Jen went off and started her own perfect little happy family and stopped caring about me." he started, trying to stay as emotionally detached as possible. He didn't need his mood to decline even further. He continued on about his mum and dad and sister for a while and threw in the break up at some point in there as well as the quidditch loss because loosing quidditch was easier to talk about than the other things.
"And I know Jen misses them too, which is why we don't like seeing each other because it makes us think of them but that's not an excuse to almost cut me out of her life." he added. "And you miss dad too, I'm sure because he thought you were great but at least you have a large family who all care about you and want to spend time with you. You even have a step mother and step brother who you can choose to not like because you can afford to have family members who you don't want to see becauase you have so many of them." Maybe it was unfair for him to bring that up but he didn't care. Demelza had asked him to talk and so he was. "Plus there's the fact that after all this, after dad's death and my girlfriend breaking up with me, when I could've really needed my friends, you decided to go off to Switzerland." Except Demelza had been the girlfriend too which would have made any complaints about the break up awkward but thinking rationally wasn't at the top of Llew's to do list at the moment.
"Is that enough sharing for now?" he added rudely once he was done.
