Her eyes flickered from her waffle up to him. "Oh, you're not that bad," she said softly. "I'm sure after a shower you'd be just fine." She held her tongue from saying anything more though. This would have to be enough, just this, at least they could be in the same room again. He didn't hate her enough to stay away forever.
Again, she wondered what she could have done or said differently so he wasn't angry at her. What it was about them that made them fight.
"You should get some sleep though," she added. "You look tired. I'll just probably get my laundry done, maybe take a nap too. See what Harry's up to." That was a bit of a lie. She wasn't even sure Harry was home, but she was willing to go along with whatever this was that they were doing.
