Theodore did his best not to look too pleased when Demelza apologised, but his hand did drop from his arm, because there was no point in milking it anymore. This entire situation was too fun for him, really. He just loved having the 'upper hand'. What he had done was cruel, but he stuck to the belief that he was a good person for giving the candy to her in private.
