Jack had somehow gotten his signals crossed, mostly just in his manner of not reading, and shown up with a black furry cap with a white stripe down the middle. He was actually pretty grateful that he'd not gone all out with a full skunk outfit, because no one else had seen fit to wear anything resembling that. Jack was actually pretty grateful that Harry had rescued him from his cap, having stolen it right off. He wasn't quite sure where it was, but it didn't matter. His hair was now bright orange - not coppery or 'redhead' orange, but actually bright orange, matching Teddy's. Only his was charmed, but Jack thought it absolutely brilliant that Teddy could change his hair like that.
Jack grinned at Harry as he settled on the couch and he wondered what to do with himself. With Teddy and the other little kids, and the other people, it totally wasn't a date atmosphere, but then why was he so nervous? They weren't going to hold hands, were they? This was kind of a ridiculous train of thoughts going through his head, but Jack really wanted to put his arm around Harry's shoulders and watch the movie like that. Only, he couldn't. So he had to sit here through the whole movie and wait for dinner later.
