"It's fine," Jack waved Harry's apology off, "but yes, misfortune is often more humorous when you're not involved. But I can laugh at myself - it's not like I'm a professional player now. That would be really embarrassing you know."
Harry's reaction was telling, but Jack wasn't quite sure what. Was he surprised that Jack had agreed, or was he surprised at how easily he'd done it? Jack gave Harry a reassuring smile, but otherwise said nothing else. Asking Harry Potter if he was bent, Jack thought, was probably the stupidest thing in the world to do. Not to mention rude, and Jack was having a nice time chatting, so he wasn't going to go and ruin it by being a presumptuous git. Part of him was really interested in figuring it out a little more. Jack bit his lip and pulled out his pastels to add just a hint of colour to the drawing. Mostly to add that very adorable flush to it.
"It's just about training yourself I think. You start with guidelines, like, here," Jack pointed at his eyes, "Most people you can fit five eyes on their face. Like this," Jack measured the size of his eye between his thumb and forefinger and showed Harry how he could fit three more eyes on his face, one on either side of his head and between them. "And then like, the size of your ear is normally the distance between the bottom of your nose to your chin, see?"
