Harry didn't have to wait long, really. Less than thirty seconds later the pale green fireflower on the end opened up - first one bloom, then another, until all five of it's blooms were opened, their centers glowing pale green as if a color coordinated firefly was sitting in the center of the bloom. The purples bloomed after the greens, then the yellows, oranges, blues then reds. Neville had them ranged in order of the color spectrum, red to purple, so the boys eyes had to dart from end to end, catching each new plant as it opened.
"So, yeah - it's a boring job some say," Neville joked, grinning over at Harry and giving him a wink. The glow of the flowers lit the side of the room in a dim rainbow and Neville grinned wider, proud of his work. All the plants were healthy, beautiful and doing well - and he was glad a mate was here to see his work, to finally see what he loved about Herbology so much.
