"Well, I monitor temperature, exactly how much food and water I give them - you know, the variables, really. That way, if anything happens of particular note with one, I can go back and see what might have caused it." Neville marked a few more notes on his paper. Before reading back over them.
"See here - last Thursday I gave the lilac fireflower x amount of water, but I noticed it was drying out faster than the two next to it, so I water it more. It's mostly because I've got so many plants to keep up with, it's hard remembering which plant needs what." Neville smiled and shrugged. "Plus, it's helpful for figuring out if there is something wrong with it. I do soil samples and tests. I dunno, there's a lot more than people realize."
