Parvati couldn’t help but feel smug once she caught a glimpse of herself in a store window. Her father would have died if he knew she was going on in public wearing something like this. An Indian girl ought to wear more clothes. She looked perfect for an evening out having drinks though. She thought so anyways. It was a strapless dress in leopard print with a gold sequins top. It suited her personality and her skin tone. Besides, how many days a week did she get to go have drinks with a musician? She thought it best look memorable. She still remembered that he’d once been a member of that Hogwarts house but it didn’t bother her that much. Honestly being a musician who traveled the world earned him forgiveness for any childhood bullying she might have faced from Slytherin House back in the day.
It was more like nine fifteen when she made it to Herbal instead of nine. Waiting outside never really was her thing though. She checked the line to make sure he wasn’t waiting to get in before going up and flirting with the doorman until he let her slip inside in front of some of the less than desirables. A quick move through the maze of people helped her make it toward the bar looking for him. She wondered if he was the type to wait on her or if he was already off having his own fun without her. There wasn’t really any stress over this. She did think maybe they should have agreed to meet at the doors. She wasn’t sure she would be able to find him in here with the crowds. At least, they’d be able to slip around unnoticed though. That was a perk of choosing a muggle club to one in a wizard district. Her idea of a good time did not include watching a bunch of fan girls throw themselves at her company.
