Distractions Who: Natasha and William When: Tuesday evening, 8:30pm Where: A bar and bistro in the East District
Her meeting with Teddy hadn't been a complete disaster, and they already had plans to see one another again. That didn't mean Natasha was ready to be a blushing bride. Or that she was ready to devote a part of her life to being a wife. All it really meant was that she wanted to have a drink or three and forget about the changes she would have to endure in the near future.
After she showered and changed, Natasha took the tram into the East District. She adored the East District. The beautiful buildings, expensive shops and just the feeling of success it invoked. Of course, visiting the District was different than living there. She couldn't afford the majority of shops and restaurants. But tonight, Natasha was going to splurge a little. She deserved it, didn't she? Considering the District, and the company, Natasha was sure to dress the part. She took care with her hair and makeup, and she wore a sophisticated enough outfit to at least look like she belonged there.
She arrived on time and hurried inside, out of the cold. The bistro was busy, but not packed, and she glanced around for William, allowing the hostess to take her coat in the meantime.
