A fellow will remember a lot of things you wouldn't think he'd remember Who: Rémy and OPEN Where: Black & White movie night at the theater in the West District When: Night, after Citizen Kane
Usually, Rémy got his updates on what Haven had on offer culturally from his teenage sisters. That tendency carried on today when at lunch he had gotten a call from his sister Léa about a black and white movie festival on the West District which - and that was the part Léa seemed interested in - was then followed by a night at a club which didn't charge any cover for ticket owners. There had also been something about a costume that meant half charge for concessions, and that was why Léa had called. After promising to help her and Élodie with costumes, Rémy thought he might go himself - no costume necessary. Naturally the sisters were going with friends and refused to let their older brother come along, especially when apparently he was quite the hit with their friends. Something about beautiful eyes, as far as he'd been able to ascertain.
Normally he would have asked Clementine to come along, but that was no longer a possibility - or at least not any time soon. He also thought about asking Julia, and even picked up his phone to text before deciding that he might need a little fun night out by himself.
The movie he had just come out of had been good, apparently lauded as one of the best ever before the cataclysm, and while Rémy had initially thought Rosebud might have been a nickname for a loved one he had been pleased with how unexpected the actual outcome of the search had been.
Standing outside to get some air, Rémy munched on a pretzel while he observed the people come in and out of the bar across the street. He felt peaceful despite the buzz. It seemed that 'date with himself' seemed to be so far the best idea he had had in a while.
