who: Miles and Ro Where: Diaspora Camp When: Early afternoon
Everyone said that of course Rika was going to be fine and Miles was doing her best to believe them, she really was. But it was hard when she was trapped inside that city. Miles kind of wanted to be in that city, and not just because Rika was there. She wanted to go because there were things in there that she just didn't have out here. Rubbish would probably have a lot of fun in a library with her, and the idea of a library? Miles couldn't properly comprehend what it would be like to be in a place that was completely dedicated to books. She'd heard stories, but to actually be there.
If Rika got out of Haven and Miles found out that she hadn't taken the opportunity to go into the library and touch at least a quarter of the books, then Miles was going to be seriously upset with her.
"Mile."
The blonde lolled her head around to peer at the small golem who was proudly holding a shiny stone out. "Where'd you get that?"
A stubby finger pointed towards somewhere else in the camp. "Found it."
Miles eyes narrowed slightly. "Did it belong to someone?"
"...no."
"Do you know that?"
"...no."
"...did anyone see you take it?"
Now the golem brightened. "Nope!"
"Okay, then thank you." She accepted the stone and rolled it over her fingers. Rubbish had been doing his best to cheer her up lately by bringing her little things but nothing, not even talking with her cousins, was doing the trick. It was starting to worry the people who knew her.
