Teddy glanced around, then shifted to move the coffee table a little closer to the couch, glancing at the space left behind. "He'll fit." Probably. He looked back to her, though the idea of maybe doing this in the hallway struck him. There were a lot more people out there, though. Best case scenario, they'd be terrified. Worse case, one of them would toss a recording of the transformation up on the network. Besides, transforming was uncomfortable enough as it was without running around naked in front of a bunch of people he didn't know.
It would probably be preferable for her, though. The offer was on his tongue, threatening to come out, but he couldn't muster up the will to say it.
"Once it's all done, just open the door and he'll go out once he gets his orders." In theory, anyway. "All you have to do is open the door downstairs and he'll get the job done." It sounded simple enough in theory, but he knew that it was a lot more complicated than it sounded. "Sorry. I mean...this isn't how I...I'm sorry."
