Who: Natasha and Willian Where: A coffee shop When: Post-Execution, early afternoon
Natasha was not thrilled to be present at the execution, but she didn't let it show. She stood quietly behind Helena, a calm, almost disinterested look on her face to hide the inner turmoil. The execution was just and necessary, but that didn't mean she enjoyed watching someone die. Well, maybe there was a tiny sliver of satisfaction, but only after Saito's statement. And his smile. He was a cold human being, devoid of empathy and feeling. His motives had been solely political, in her opinion, and hundreds of innocent lives were lost because of it.
Natasha started only once when the guns fired, but then it was over, and that was that. She spoke with Helena for several moments until her boss was pulled away by another member of the Council. She was due back at work soon, but she had enough time to track down William as she promised she would do. It didn't take her very long to find him, as the crowd began to disperse and Natasha walked up behind him, resting her hand gently on his arm to draw his attention.
"Hey," she greeted with a warm smile. "I'm ready to get out of here, what about you?"
