Draco wobbled to his table and settled as comfortably as he could into the plush armchair. He'd managed to snag the best table in the place, probably due in no small part to the fact that it was in Wizarding London and he wasn't exactly the most unrecognizable public figure. Being the Minister's assistant and a Malfoy to boot tended to have an impact. Today, though, wasn't about that, it was about catching up with an old friend, something for which he'd had precious little time in the last month.
The accident at Malkin's had probably been a blessing in disguise, come to think of it. Draco had been able to take time off work for the first time in a long time. Truth be told he wasn't sure his position at the Ministry was worth the stress; he was getting increasingly concerned that he would end up burning out one of these days and land himself a spot at Saint Mungo's being treated for extreme exhaustion or something. Speaking of, he drained his coffee, then gestured for a refill. The barista hurried to comply.
Blaise had better get here soon, or there wouldn't be any coffee left for him.
