There is to be a child's party on the morrow. I would like to go. I thought it would be best if I asked you both. And perhaps you would attend with me.

I should like to also meet my sister-in-law.

Would any other lady be willing to come shopping with me? I have no clothes and I'd very much like some advice as to what to wear. I have a date to keep, after all.

Ah, the sea-longing. Ever since I heard the song of Belegaer, I have been unable to escape it. Even in my dreams I hear the crash of the surf, and the sea-wind in my hair. And now, every morning, I may open my eyes to it from my room in Vinyamar.

Every moment I could spend at sea, every moment of every day, and still long for it all the more.

Ah, but I wax poetic and forget my point.

I think that the addition of fish, and perhaps other seafood to our diet would be most useful. I know that many of you may already fish, but I was wondering if anyone would like to assist me in doing so on a larger scale?

As I am in this place with no knowledge of when or if I shall be returned home, I think it would be advantageous and interesting to learn of lore of those of you who come from different worlds, or even from different times in Middle Earth.

Stories, tales, your own histories - I should like to learn it all. We may speak on this network if it pleases you, but I should also like to meet in person, and discuss such things over a glass of wine.

I went shopping with Peggy and Bridget today, and by the Valar, it is lovely.

This is such a nice style! Still a skirt but easy to move around in.

And pants! I love pants!

And then I got a swim-suit for swimming in the sea!

So. I've been here a few days now, and spent my time exploring and trying to figure out where I am. Gods. Never seen any place like this. It's kind of crazy here, isn't it?

And what's keeping us here?

I tried Shadow-traveling back to Manhattan, and it was like I smacked my head on a brick wall. I think I was unconscious for a few minutes!

It appears that I may yet be in this realm for some time, which is troubling to me. I have much left to do in Asgard and I cannot tarry here overlong. The trial of my brother for his crimes is imminent, and I must be there as King of Asgard to oversee.

And yet I am told he is here, though I have not laid eyes on him since my arrival. Perhaps he avoids me.
