My dudes and dudettes! We have a new door! And it's to my world. I mean, it's to the place I was before the other station and then you know, this one. The door leads to Seattle. Looks like it's summer there too, so you can all get a break from the freaky snow! So I went through and when I got there, I had a credstick. It's basically a thing that has money on it you can spend so you can buy things when you get there.
The door takes you to downtown Seattle. Probably should prepare you for some stuff.
Welcome to Seattle. The year is 2060, and the future sure is bright, Chummers! If you're going to venture out of the station and into my little slice of the universe, then you're in for a treat. Seattle's got it all. There's bars, clubs, museums, and plenty of shows to see. If you like shopping, there's the Aurora Mall! It has around 200 shops and there's something there for everyone. If it doesn't, there's plenty of different shops you can visit around the city, and a market! You can get anything really from guns and blades to magical trinkets, or you can buy a cyberdeck and get the hottest cyberware. Do you want better eyes? Maybe you want a tattoo that changes colour and lights up! Get some cyberware! Just be careful and don't get too much. Your soul matters! Especially if you're one a magic user. Cyberware kinda fucks with that stuff.
Or if you prefer things to be more relaxed, you can check out the Opera House, or maybe the Downtown Library? And there's always the classic Space Needle for those views of the cities skyline. Just maybe avoid the Arcology. Yeah. Stay clear of Renraku Arcology. No, really. Stay away from the Renraku Arcology. It's in total shutdown. It's a massive building. Kinda like a city within a city. It's really tall too. You might take note that none of the lights are on like no one's home? But there are still people trapped there. Um, just don't go there. Really.
There's plenty to do at night time too. Check out Sybrespace if you like loud music, neon lights and making new friends. Or if you want to sample local life and you want to try living the life of a local runner, there's always Dantes Inferno, but you didn't hear that from me.
The city is full of hotels and restaurants so you'll always have some place to go. The city never sleeps, pretty much ever. There's always something open in some way or another. And if there isn't there's a good chance there's a vending machine that's got you covered. You can get pretty much anything but the quality is usually pretty drek. Like you can get a printed suit and shirt if you wanted. Or you could get a pizza and a drink.
There's elves, trolls, dwarves, and even dragons. There's magic too! The whole work went through an awakening and magic came back to the world and people started turning into different things like elves and orcs and stuff. So Seattle is pretty multi cultural and really busy!
Mafia presence is still pretty big in the city so be careful, and be wary of the rent a cops. They're crooked hoops. And there's a lot of gangs but they're more present in other parts of the city. If you stick to downtime, you should be good.
I think I've covered everything? If you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer. It's been a long time since I was back home. I'm excited to share my world with you all.
