"It's true, I'm pretty much a worry wort, but I suppose that stems from the fact I'm a scientist and ... well... I know how bad everything can go in any scenario," He laughed and shook his head, "I'm always listing out the goods and the bads, consequences, weighing risks... it's a terrible way to live. Trust me."
He winked and then kind of just gripped her hand, shaking his head, "I shouldn't be that way with you though. I've been comfortable with you, we've been comfortable with each other for awhile. I guess when we add in the romantic element it becomes a bit more daunting; if only because that moves into a territory I've obviously not had much success with, as I'm very much single, and so it looms as a failed task..."
He was still over thinking and he took out a deep breath before shaking his head, "Sorry, yes. I am quite good at flirting when I'm not doing it, so I've got to work on being oblivious more often. It does wonders... in the mean time, I will show you some of my favorite spots. Though, to be fair, I'm buried in a lab so much I don't have many."
