He was still overthinking. It was Peter's nature. Emma smiled and reached her hand out and slid it over his with a smile, sure it would either calm him down or make his brain start smoking. It would be amusing one way or the other at least.
"Peter, there is no reason to be terrified at all, nor is this really all that impossible." Though she might have felt that way once or twice. After all, how could such a brilliant man want someone who couldn't hack college? "Nope, all flirting... well it was friendly banter in the beginning, but I wasn't ready for anything." Peter knew a bit about her terrible last relationship, but not the details or what had finally happened to cause her to leave France.
"Well Once we eat, you have me for the whole evening." She wondered if she should just invite him back to her apartment so they could actually talk about things more seriously, or just let Peter figure out what they were going to do. Would it be considered a date? She kind of liked that idea.
