He grinned at her laugh and then tilted his head, "Teach me? Now, I know I can't afford the stellar lessons of one Miss Emma Roman, not even a little bit. I'd have to pay you in IOUs, friendly chatter, and jokes. None of those are really all that great from me, but they're worth a bit."
Peter watched her a moment then raised a brow, "A partner for ballroom dancing? I'm sure there are ... plenty of much better dancers, male, hotter, than me that can help you out there. I mean, also, could you really keep up with my ability?"
He was kidding, absolutely, and then he swallowed, "I uh... I uh, definitely could do that, I think. Stay your place, that is. I mean, I'd be fantastic on a couch, it'd really give me good rest before a job interview."
He then laughed, "Yes, yes they will. And of course I'll be there opening night. Have you known me to ever miss a dance routine?"
