"Maybe... yea." Abby admitted. When he put his arm around her, her heartbeat sped up a little. Before, everything, she was pretty tactile with the few friends she had, but then touching for years she really didn't touch anyone and the times she was touched weren't good. They tended to involve her being restrained. Then there was Jackson... but even still it was something she wasn't used to- especially by a nice guy.
As they arrived at the quiet spot she shrugged slightly. "You'll think I'm stupid." Abby said softly. "I just... What if people know I saw something? Or what if they think I should have? And what if they know I was too late... that if my vision had been five minutes earlier no one would have died?" She looked to the ground, cheeks red as she expected him to either agree with her, that she could have done something more, or to tell her that she was stupid for thinking such things.
