Who: Abby & Jason When: Sat, after Rachel leaves Where: Abby's room then, outside? Rating: Probably low- maybe talk about bad visions Status: Incomplete/Closed
Rachel was nice, she was supportive. She wasn't Lucas, but Abby had warmed up to her. It was hard to hear the assurances from her handler and therapist, that things weren't her fault, she wasn't in trouble, etc. Her guilt and low self-esteem just pulverized the words into a pulp and convinced her they were just placating her. But she did want to believe them. Just like she wanted to believe that Jason had come to see her because he liked her, that they were friends and not just because he pitied her. She looked very small in her oversized sweater and when Jason arrive she hadn't yet put shoes over her mismatched socks.
"Hi." She said, the surprise he'd actually come not well hidden on her face. Sure, she'd sent him a message when Rachel had left, but she hadn't actually expected him to come. But at the same time she knew deep down he would. "Come in." She said, stepping back and moving to her bed to sit down. Her shoes were at her feet, but she didn't go for them right away. Maybe he wouldn't actually insist they go outside.
Her room was full of journals, her desk and most of her bookshelf. The top shelf was almost noticeably empty and a keen eye would notice a lone box closed up in the corner. She didn't have any other obvious personal items, and it actually looked like there weren't any- save for her messenger bag.
