That certainly wasn’t Dove or JP or Aidan – all of whom probably would have just parked in one of the seats. Curiously, Raven glanced up at the unexpected visitor, smiling when she noticed he had a cup outstretched towards her. “How could I turn that down when you brought an offering?” She gestured towards the empty chair next to her and then patted it, inviting him to take a seat.
And, happily, she took the drink that he’d held out towards her. It didn’t look like another rye and ginger, but she could (and should) pace herself a tad.
“I don’t know about classic,” she laughed. “Although I suppose it could make a decent karaoke track if there was some like… back up, you know? And the whole thing falls apart without the music video which is just – bananas.”
After a beat, Raven realized that this guy was brand new; one of the few unfortunate souls to walk through the doors after the recent tragedies. Extending her hand towards him, she smiled in her characteristically mischievous way. “I’m Raven. You’re Gabe, right?”
