Hector tried not to smile a little at that. "It seems so sneaky. But it might be for his own good." He practically giggled at the wool he wanted to pull over the good doctor's eyes. Even if it was for his own good. Hector drew in a deep breath for a moment before the tea that he had put on whistled and he sort of pulled himself out of the childish stupor he had found himself in. For the sake of looking...less like a dork and more suave. Or as suave as he could be. He was felt much more graceful when his powers were activated. Much more alert and aware of his surroundings.
"Why not try to go for the best of both worlds? That's...usually how things work, isn't it?" He tilted his head to the side as he inched over to the electronic kettle and shut it off. "Tea?"
His mouth dropped open before shutting promptly. "You've never read the books?" He pulled off his glasses for a moment, starting to clean them. "Oh no, they're not dirty. I did just see a unicorn. I think you might be one of the few left in the world." He said in a hushed voice, pulling out two mugs for tea. "If he had a folder for me...I'd be in a blue one." He laughed a bit, indicting -- yes, he was a fan. It was easy to show his inner nerd when Garrett was around. His defenses slipped easily. "I hav--I'm sure the Shopette would have copies."
