Theo had every right to be suspicious. Even more so that he knew the man and the fact Lucas wouldn't have been so easily caught by him. To others? Maybe they would have the moment to gloat in the fact that they caught him so quickly. Lucas could've kept throwing knives in the other man's direction until he was blue in the face or ran out of knives. Both logical things he could've done from his hiding spot but there was no tactical advantage to doing that when Theo's weapons were practically infinite while his were whatever he could find.
Luckily, he was...resourceful, regardless. The handler shifted a little with pushing himself up so he was in a more comfortable position. But still one that was wholly more exposed than he would've liked. "I don't really give mercy, I've never really expected any in return." He smiled, tight-lipped from where he was positioned on the ground in front of Theo. "We call this a point for you?" Lucas' eyes followed the circular balls that very nearly disappeared once Theo had sent them out.
Lucas' hands still raised and slightly over his head as another knife slid in position out from under his sleeve but his body language didn't change, didn't poise for attack. The handler calmly waiting to watch the defenses in the other man go down ever so slightly to give him enough room to act.
