Lucas was well aware of that fact. Putting Theo in a situation where he had zero control over his opponent and what they would bring to the playing field. Lucas was more than likely to do much more damage if he hadn't chosen a simulation where it played to both their strengths either. Theo's powers and his own stealth. He supposed the other man's powers sort of trumped his own skills, as good as they were. Lucas was never quite one for a spectacle -- it felt more like something that Theo would eventually have to face at some point. Someone who was aware of the danger he truly could be if they used weapons that his particular skill set held power over.
He would've grimaced when the knife didn't hit the mark but he didn't expect that it would've. Not with that damn door that Theo was using.
The last thing he needed right now was to be caught by Theo, however. Lucas knew it'd be a bitch to get out of if it did happen. A big if in his mind if he was going to be honest with himself. Not in case if he got caught, but if he could get out of Theo's power. Which was unlikely as a whole, but he'd flung his knives and kept moving rather than waiting for it to hit its mark. He might have been "normal" but he wasn't dumb. Lucas knew in this case staying in one place was far too dangerous than moving forward.
He didn't move as quickly as he thought he did, hitting the ground as the metal wrapped around his ankle and pulled him out of his hiding spot. The handler didn't really struggle as much as he just let himself slide out of his hiding spot without too much effort, holding his hands up. "This is probably where someone would ask for mercy." But he wasn't that type of guy nor should it ever be expected that it was ever going to be this easy to catch him.
