"Calvin," he offered. "But everybody calls me Cal." He hadn't been called Calvin in a very long time and when he got called Calvin he knew he was in trouble.
Cal came from the streets so he knew how bad other places could be and how difficult life was outside of the Regiment walls but at the same time at least they were free as difficult as things had been.
"I'm not a big fan of taking orders," is what Cal offered with a shrug of his shoulders. Russell as a handler had not done anything to make Cal dislike him and if anything he'd proven that he was true to his word which had gone a long way with Cal as he was all about action.
