Honestly, Hector wouldn't have either if it wasn't ingrained in his senses already to be aware of his surroundings. His powers screamed 'weapon' while he was more of...a nerd. Neither Juliet nor Eric saw it fit to address his habit of disappearing into medical when he should be training so he counted it as a plus. But there were forced training sessions regardless and he while he did approach the situation with his metaphorical tail tucked between his legs. He still exceeded at it. Still, he tried not to laugh when she jumped when he spoke. Hector couldn't really help the short laugh, shaking his head.
He glanced down at his coffee mug with a sigh. "It never quite makes the walk over here. Regardless of how I much I try." There was always a form of relief in him when it came to Avery and her powers -- she would never have to use them on him. His healing made it so that fact was a certainty. Hector knocked his leg against her toes with an amused look on his face, shrugging a little.
He tilted his head to the side with a curious expression on his face before laughing. "I just tried to imagine you in the gym for longer than you had to be. I'm sure Frost means well but...I'm glad I was assigned with Juliet and Eric, just the same." They didn't force him into the gym anymore than he needed to be. They hadn't approached him about going out into the field or the lack there of recently. "Oh...no, I was rereading So Far from God again. Computers are a lost process for me. But...I like Minesweeper?"
