He was more of a croissant man. Now that was a lot of work, but the payoff was in buttery, flaky goodness. And if they were fresh from the oven, all the better.
Maybe it wouldn't hurt to bake a batch of muffins every now and then, just for the base in general. He sure felt a lot better when he was baking. "You ever tried making them before?"
