Poker without cash sounded kind of boring, more like the games of Uno that they used to get stuck playing with the family back in the day. Still the mention of a side bet was mildly intriguing, but if Sam learned that it was something stupid like playing for pretzels or something she was totally going to roll her eyes. "A side bet, eh? Please tell me you aren't swapping chores, snacks, or something equally as sad?" Jo wasn't wrong about the lack of things to do, yet Sam could admit that at least this was a slight step up from sitting in prison cell.
When Jo sighed and shook her head Samantha did the same. Sure one time, when they were just kids, she accidentally got the littler Wayland drunk with her powers...but in Sam's defense Jo was totally whining about wanting to go party...and Samantha didn't even know that she could literally get someone drunk with her abilities either. "You gotta let that one bad experience go, and loosen up already baby girl! I already said sorry like a million times..plus when broke the house I was totally there to help cover of you, so were are even."
Unsure of what to say or do she reached out and took back the bottle; handing over a the box of Mike and Ikes that had been hidden behind her back too. But before saying a word Sam opened the lid to the two liter and took a large swig. Oh she couldn't get drunk, but the stuff tasted good all the same. After a moment Samantha put the lid back on, focused again until the bottle was refilled and full once more, and she handed it back over to Jo.
At last, with a playful grin the older sister just winked at Jo...and concentrated for a moment...until a little alcohol manifested itself in the girl's blood stream. Not enough to get her drunk at all; especially not with how fast Jo's body mended up. Still more then enough to get her little sister tipsy. "There we go! Count that as my third birthday gift Jo. Something to drink, your favorite candy, and now a fun little buzz."
