"That's the one." Jo nodded, debating if how to answer the question. "It's not really gambling, we're just playing cards with a side bet." She chuckled. "Besides, there's not a lot to do here, so we keep out of trouble, don't destroy the place and recreational activities- like poker- aren't outlawed." She wrinkled her nose slight. "For the most part." Jo was sure some handlers would discourage it more than others. "As far as stakes.... we're improvising."
When Sam pulled out the bottles she was confused- for a split second. She sighed, shaking her head. "Thanks Sam, but you know I don't drink- one of the reason's we're playing poker." Her sister wishing her a happy birthday was definitely appreciated, but the alcohol... she should have expected it.
