Ethan had taken Carly's comments to heart about only ever making friends that he could train for and spending most if not all his time training so here he was trying to branch out by heading into the Leisure room rather than the shooting range or the hologym. He'd heard from a couple people that it was a good way to pass time and it was a good place for social interaction so he figured he'd give it a shot.
It looked pretty busy and Ethan hovered for a moment as he pushed a hand into his dark hair and for a moment he thought about leaving. It wasn't that he lacked confidence but more he wasn't that great with people and he'd never really been at any facility long enough to make real actual connections. Carly and Riley were the exception to that but he couldn't always rely on them for conversation.
And then with a deep breath he pushed his concerns to one side and trailed inside until pausing as a thick Russian accent spoke his name and sure enough as he turned his head his light eyes came to rest on Vasily. "Uh, I hadn't actually planned on turning the TV on." He could see the other man was reading and he figured now was as good a time as any to make conversation so he gestured. "What are you reading?"
