Tony nodded at Mason's comment. "Never would have thought I'd be locked up in here and find my carbon copy all in the same week," he mumbled. Life was just getting too weird and complicated for him all at once, especially having gone from having a relatively simple and normal life thus far to having this all dumped on him at once? It was a lot for anyone and Tony was no exception.
He shot a look over at Mason as if to say, 'Don't even think about it,' when he started trying to be a smart ass. "Well we can't both be called Asshole," he jibed. Where Mason seemed to be rough around the edges and downright uncouth, Tony was refined and at least decently mannered for any kid his age.
Tony shook his head. "Judging by your accent, I'd wager that it isn't. Plus, I grew up in New York with a sister. My parents never would have just dumped another kid elsewhere." At least, the image of his parents that he had before that very moment was one where they would never ditch a baby and only take one home. Besides, it still didn't make sense to him how he was American and this other kid was British.
