Alika snorted, moving around the table as the balls broke up, trying to see if there was an angle that she could hit to sink one. She thought she might be able to, but at the same time she wasn't really in a competitive mood; she just wanted someone to shoot pool with and talk to. Even if she was convinced her stay here was only temporary, she was beginning to understand the merit of having someone else to talk to, other people that she could sit with or talk to if she was feeling bored and lonely.
"A book so riveting you couldn't put it down to play pool with someone," she commented, lining up a shot. The ball bounced off the pocket but didn't go in. "I really don't like the training. My powers aren't... particularly offensive." That was a lie, she had one that was supremely offensive but she didn't really have the greatest control over it and in all honesty she much preferred just making flowers appear and growing plants than working out how to vine whip someone into submission. "And the ability I have to make people hallucinate? Probably not a wise thing to let loose in a close quarters base like this..."
