Henry scratched his head. Had someone told him that? They must have. That seemed like information too important to have forgotten—though, realistically, Henry didn’t have the best memory, and it was entirely possible someone had informed him and he just hadn’t been paying attention. Accepting the situation gracefully wasn’t exactly what had happened when he’d been put in handcuffs and carted off into the unknown.
When she clarified that she’d been ribbing him – the tension in his posture dissolved and he offered an easy smile. “Fooling the new guy, I get it. Not nice,” he laughed, “But I get it.”
He didn’t much like the idea of his powers being turned off indefinitely, however. “Guess I’ll have to be more careful in the future. Just in case.”
His hands moved back to his hips as he gave the girl a once-over, confusion once again gracing his expression. “Why would you be denting up the showers?” That seemed like a bizarre place to be practicing ones abilities, but hey, he wouldn't judge.
