She was correct for the most part. This place didn't look out for its agents. Every day more supers were exposed and the likelihood that a new agent would come around that was better was always there. David lived with that mentality. It was hammered into him by his old handler. They were expendable. They were all expendable. There had been a mission where he had to crawl back to the rendezvous location. One of his hips broken by a bullet and he was just simply told if he was five minutes later, there wouldn't have been an escape for him.
