Evan had just finished up in the gym and had taken a shower to freshen up before tugging on clean clothes deciding against tying his hair back as he stepped out in the pursuit of food. He had been intending on hitting up the cafeteria but it didn't take very long for him to notice the smell of what he associated with chicken and fajitas.
Somebody was clearly cooking in the kitchen attached to their suite and Evan decided to go investigate. And as he did he come to rest his gaze on Gabi who judging by the brace on her knee was feeling the after effects of all the renovation work that she'd been doing lately.
It wasn't unusual for ex-soldiers to have injuries that stayed with them long after they were done fighting, Evan had a couple of his own complaints, but nothing as bad as some people. "Smells good," he said with a complimentary smile.
